Phone and SMS compatibility

Keep the number customers know—when the carrier supports it.

LeadsLockAI's current sellable service is website chat, so it does not change your phone service. Phone and SMS are only considered after we check the exact number, carrier, and line type.

What we promise

We will not promise universal same-number compatibility or make a port, carrier, SIM, voicemail, or forwarding change without explaining it and receiving your approval first.

The possible setup paths

Connect a compatible business-phone provider

If your number already runs through a supported cloud-phone system, an approved integration may let the public number and existing provider remain in place.

Host messaging on an eligible number

Some Canadian landline, VoIP, and toll-free numbers may qualify for messaging while voice remains with the current carrier. Eligibility must be confirmed for the exact number.

Port the exact digits

A number may be portable to a compatible provider without changing the digits customers dial. Porting can still change the carrier, SIM, calling app, voicemail, emergency-calling setup, or verification-message behaviour.

Use a separate SMS sender when required

If a carrier or mobile line cannot support same-number automated texting and the owner does not want to port it, voice can stay on the advertised number while texting uses a clearly identified separate number.

Before phone activation

We verify number ownership, carrier, line type, messaging eligibility, portability, forwarding behaviour, and voicemail interaction. If the requested experience cannot be delivered on the existing number, we tell you before anything changes.
